broccoli salad dressing



sometimes broccoli just needs a little zip.  this recipe if for a dressing that could be used on any salad or vegetables.  i have tried this on warmed broccoli, but i would guess that it could be used on a cold salad equally as well. the dressing only has five ingredients and will certainly give you an alternative to a boring broccoli side dish.

to make the dressing:  mix together 2 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce, 2 tablespoons white wine vinegar, 2 tablespoons sesame oil, 1/4 teaspoon or more of sugar to taste, and 1/4 teaspoon fine sea salt.


if using on warm broccoli, heat in the microwave before serving, so as not to cool off the broccoli too quickly. i prefer to steam or roast my broccoli which improves the texture and flavor. serve this with any asian inspired chicken, pork or beef dishes.
