try this salad presentation at your next meal. for a small first course salad, try serving in a tall glass. i simply used finely shredded romaine lettuce and spinach leaves, with a few sliced carrots. shredded carrots would work well. finely cut sprouts, tender lettuces or other seeds would be a nice addition too.
prepare your favorite salad dressing and drizzle over the salad just before serving. i used a balsamic vinegar dressing for this meal.
the presentation was fun and the serving portion was just right for a light first course.
