summertime, the 4th of July, and s’mores. seems like an all-American combination.
this traditional campfire treat is easily made over the backyard grill. we have made these for years and always seem to enjoy them for the 4th of July. the first version of this recipe was printed in the girl scout handbook in 1927. so, this is not an original concept.
using a long-handled shish-kabob skewer, we toast and roast the marshmallows and add them to graham crackers with a bit of Hershey’s chocolate.
nothing more to say–except yum and happy 4th of July.
