summer is all about quick fresh meals.  this grilled teriyaki salmon recipe is just that–quick and fresh.  i purchased a teriyaki glaze and allowed the salmon to marinate for about one hour in the refrigerator prior to baking.  to continue the preparation:

place the salmon on a baking sheet skin side down. bake the salmon on a sheet pan with the marinade at 400 degrees for 14 minutes until the fish is flaky.  it should easily break away with a fork. garnish with toasted sesame seeds and chopped green onions or chives.

serve with roasted asparagus or a starch if preferred.  salmon is a very nutritious food.  it is a protein-rich fish, high in B12, and vitamin D. so, think about serving salmon this week while enjoying the summer sunshine.
