my summer garden is filled with delicious herbs and what better way to use refrigerated breadstick dough, but to incorporate the herbs on top.
i simply sprayed the tops of the dough while on the baking sheet with spray olive oil and sprinkled and placed fresh herbs on each piece. i used parsley, rosemary, chives, thyme and oregano. then, before baking, i sprinkled with fine sea salt for added flavor.
i baked them per the directions on the package and they were perfect. as a tip, i would make certain that the herbs were pressed into the dough, so they do not fall off during the cooking process. the first time i tried this technique, that happened.
