here they are! i think i found the Red Lobster cheesy biscuit recipe. these biscuits are really good, and even better when served warm right out of the oven. the biscuits are very easy to make. this recipe makes 12 biscuits.
i used heart smart Bisquick instead of the regular Bisquick. i don’t think it makes much of a difference in carb or calorie counts, but i tried.
here is the recipe: preheat the oven to 450 degrees. mix together 2 cups of Bisquick with 1/2 cup ice-cold water and 3/4 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese. use another 1/4 cup of ice-cold water, adding 1 tablespoon at a time until a nicely formed dough is achieved.
drop the biscuits on a baking sheet that has been prepared with Pam baking spray.
next, prepare the butter topping. melt 1/4 cup butter or margarine. add the following ingredients to the melted butter — 1 teaspoon parsley flakes, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, and 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning. baste the biscuits prior to baking.
bake for 8 to 10 minutes. serve warm or the biscuits can be re-heated in the microwave.
